-
Trauma can result from the impact of stressful events or experiences. Without support these events can stay with us longer than we want.
-
When trauma stays with us it can look like being startled easily, hyper-sensitivity, self-destructive behavior, anger outburst, difficulty focusing or decompressing/sleeping.
-
Thinking about yourself that have distortions (“I’m a failure” “I’m useless”) with persistent feelings like anger, shame, fear, guilt along with other ways of detaching.

THERAPY THAT MEETS YOU WHERE YOU ARE.
Trauma can affect more than your thoughts—it can shape how you feel in your body, your relationships, and your sense of safety in the world. Trauma therapy offers a supportive, structured space to gently work through experiences that may still be affecting your life.
Using approaches such as EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic therapies, we’ll work together to reduce the intensity of trauma-related symptoms, build a greater sense of safety, and help you feel more grounded and connected. Healing isn’t about erasing what happened—it’s about helping you move forward with greater freedom, resilience, and quality of life.
