Have you thought about including animals into therapy and feel like you want to do the best you can by the animals and clients served?

This CE opportunity will help you develop a foundational comprehension of the inclusion of animals in therapy and give you insight to how to start thinking critically about appropriate animal inclusion.

You will gain and apply ethical competency considerations and discuss basic animal welfare for animals included in therapy.

This workshop is designed to help you:
  • Gain introductory knowledge of animal inclusion in therapy
  • Interpret and analyze the changes on updated terminology in AAT
  • Explore and assess animal behavior and create safety space for appropriate animal welfare
  • Gain a working knowledge with the ACA/APA ethics and ethical considerations with animal inclusion and the Core Competencies. 
This workshop offers 5.25 NBCC approved CE hours.
