Clinic Skills and Application

This workshop will help you:

  • Explore and assess animal behavior and safety, while gaining knowledge of ethical application to animal and client welfare.
  • Apply trauma-informed and somatic processing techniques during equine sessions.
  • Analyze, practice and observe skills to identify therapeutic moments, resistance patterns, attachment dynamics, and opportunities for intervention.
  • Integrate equine-assisted interventions with evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, EMDR, DBT, IFS) to address complex clinical presentation.
  • Facility metaphor development and processing techniques that deepen client insight.

Offering 5 NBCC approved ce hours

Space is limited to 8 participants and you must have a basic foundation theory of equine inclusion.
